Swimwear brand Zoggs will be the official corporate partner for the Aspire Channel Swim 2013, a 12-week challenge that supports people with spinal cord injuries.
Now in its 14th year, spinal injury charity Aspire will encourage thousands of people to swim 22 miles – the length of the English Channel – in their local pools from September 9 to December 1.
Zoggs has been the official partner for the challenge for three years in a row.
Zoggs UK marketing and PR manager David Annand said: “We have a great passion for swimming, believing it to be one of life’s great pleasures.”
“We are extremely proud to be partnering the Aspire Channel Swim again in 2013 and encourage everyone – whatever age, sex or ability – to take part in this great challenge and raise much needed funds for those living with Spinal Cord Injury,” he added.
Aspire’s Director of Fundraising and Marketing, Paul Parrish, added: “It is fantastic to have Zoggs on board again this year. With their support, we hope that even more people will sign up for the 2013 Aspire Channel Swim, raising money which will help even more people with spinal cord injuries enjoy independence.”
Around £3.7 million has been raised for Aspire since it launched in 1999.
