Zoggs exec raises thousands for prostate cancer

A 500 mile fundraising walk by Zoggs UK marketing manager David Annand, has reached the halfway point in terms of distance travelled and money raised.

David hopes to raise over £5000 for Prostate Cancer UK with the endurance walk, as well as raise awareness for the charity and its aim to tackle the condition through research and education.

David has been a Prostate Cancer UK supporter since 2011 when he was first diagnosed with the condition at the age of 49. He has been undergoing treatment since November that year. “There is a long way to go,” he says on his fundraising page.

On Saturday 15th September, David will be doing an awareness walk at Wembley Stadium in the lead up to the Saracens v Leicester Tigers Rugby match in front of 80,000 spectators.

Fans that buy tickets from a Prostate Cancer UK web site will have a proportion of that ticket price donated to the charity.
