The Yes Master ‘Galaxy’ Swarovski kimono, which was bought by anonymous bidder, was one of several lots on offer in the silent auction.

Other items to go under the hammer included dinner with Tom Parker Bowles & Matthew Fort, which sold for £2,600 and the opportunity to accompany award winning restaurant critic Jay Rayner on one of his reviews, which sold for £1,125.

A live auction also took place, some of the highlights of which included Russell Young’s ‘Jackie Kennedy’ which sold for £6,500, Julian Opie’s transparent depiction of ‘Gallery, which fetched £4,250 against an estimate of £1,800-2,000 and Dan Baldwin’s silkscreen print ‘Cyclone,’ which sold for £3,200 – four times the estimate.

The Gourmet evening was the brainchild of Guardian food writer and ‘Great British Menu’ judge, Matthew Fort, who had the support of PAC almost 25 years ago when he adopted his daughter, Lois.
