Yawn lands in Galeries Lafayette

British nightwear brand Yawn has announced its launch into French department store Galeries Lafayette.

The label is stocked at the chain’s Parisian store, Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, and can be found in ‘designer corner’ on the fourth floor. The full range is also available online at galerieslafayette.com.

Since its debut in 2014, the brand has enjoyed exceptional growth and now has stockists in the UK, Germany and Switzerland.

Launching in France with the prestigious retailer Galeries Lafayette is the next step in the company’s European expansion.

Alice Whitely, co-founder and owner of Yawn expressed her excitement for the launch: “We are proud to be featured in such a beautiful and iconic store as Haussman and are delighted that through GL.com we can reach a French audience.”

To celebrate the launch, a print has been developed in Yawn’s London studio that will be launched exclusively with Galeries Lafayette this winter.

It is called Blown Away and celebrates the spirit of Paris, with hidden miniature Eiffel Towers and red balloons.

British holidays provide the inspiration for the current collection. The most popular styles include Port in a Storm, a seascape with lighthouses and hidden whales; Cat Nap, a polka of chubby snoozing cats, and Where the Heart is, a scattered array of love hearts.
