Miss Universe 2013 will appear on the catwalk wearing swimwear by Italian label Yamamay at Miami Fashion Week next month.
Gabriela Isler and her fellow models will showcase the official Miss Universe swimwear line at the Yamamay runway show, which will be held on May 17.
The collection is made up of ‘Timeless’, a 1950’s-inspired line featuring a plunging one-piece, a strapless bikini and a draped push-up bikini; and ‘Sparkling’, a modern line that revisits the glam punk era, with swimsuits and bikinis featuring twisted strapping details.
Aaron Perry, co-owner of Miami Fashion Week Events said he organisation is “thrilled” to have Isler on the catwalk, premiering Yamamay’s official Miss Universe swimwear line.
"Miami is the ultimate cruise capital of the world and it only makes sense to present this unique collection from here,” he said.
Last year, Yamamay signed an agreement with the Miss Universe Organization to design a capsule collection that would be worn by Miss Universe finalists in Moscow.
After being crowned Miss Universe, Venezuelan-born Isler was photographed wearing the Yamamay million dollar swimsuit, created in collaboration with Dinacci jewellers.
