Wolford will be opening a new store in Leeds, this year, within the city’s Victoria Quarter shopping centre.
The lingerie and hosiery will reportedly be taking on a ten year lease of the shop on 42 Queen Victoria Street.
The letting, which was secured by property consultancy King Sturge acting on behalf of the Bank of Ireland, will see Wolford pay an annual rent of £49,000 for 700 sq ft in space.
Wolford is not the only retailer which has signed a deal with the shopping centre, which looks set to make an additional £320,000 in income over the next year.
Other companies to sign deals included cosmetic retailer Kiehl’s, cosmetics shop L’Occitane and travel agent Kuoni. In a separate agreement, fashion store Aspecto has also extended its 1 Queen Victoria Street lease for another ten years
Incumbent retailers at the Victoria Quarter include Louis Vuitton, Harvey Nichols, Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood, Mulberry, Radley, Jack Wills and Thomas Sabo.
King Sturge partner Jonathan Newns said: "Victoria Quarter has enjoyed a very successful year, attracting a whole host of top national and international brands in spite of the VAT rise, fears over economic growth and competition from Trinity Quarter scheme."
