Wolford CFO & deputy chairman steps down

Wolford AG has announced that its Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Peter Simma, is set to leave the company.

The departure, which is reportedly occurring as a result of Simma’s ‘own request’ will be effective from September, 2012.

Peter Simma has been a member of the Executive Board of Wolford AG since August 2001, with management responsibility for Finance/Controlling, Investor Relations, Legal, Human Resources, IT and Procurement.

Wolford AG chief executive Holger Dahmen said: “Within the course of more than ten years working for the company, Peter Simma made a significant contribution to the turnaround of the company and the sustainable and successful reorientation of its business operations. Personally and on behalf of the Wolford Group, I deeply regret Mr. Simma’s decision. I wish him all the best for the future”

Simma added: “It was not easy for me to make this decision. They were exciting, challenging and successful years. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all employees for the good cooperation. Together we have accomplished a lot.”

Peter Simma will continue to fulfill all his duties and responsibilities at Wolford AG until September 14, 2012.
