Japanese lingerie brand Wacoal is adding a new premium line to its Wacoal America range.
A global launch event will be held in Paris on July 3, two days before Mode City, where the entire Wacoal line will be shown exclusively to industry professionals for the first time.
Another major announcement will also be made at the event, the brand has said.
Wacoal Holdings managing director Yuzo Ide said: “I am very excited to see the launch of our extended Wacoal collection. It has been our vision to develop a leading premium intimate apparel brand across the world, so this launch marks a significant milestone in our history.
“Wacoal has many loyal customers all over the world and we hope that this new development will build many new relationships too.”
Designed in Europe, the new line comprises two collections for SS15; Marquise and Dahlia.
Marquise features an underwired bra and balcony bra made in floral lace.
Each set comes with matching briefs, shorts or tangas and is available in black, cream pink and tropical green.
To complete the collection, the Marquise chemise is available in black and cream pink in sizes S-L.
Dahlia is made up of a padded balcony bra, underwired bra and triangle bra made with delicate embroidery.
The bras come with a choice of brief, short or thong and are available in rose pink, blush and leaf green.
