Wacoal Europe has revealed changes to its management structure across its EMEA territories.
The manufacturer, which incorporates lingerie brands such as Freya, Fantasie, Huit and Wacoal, said its export director, Evelyne Piegay, will now oversee the general management of the French market.
She will handle sales and marketing in France, plus customer service and customer support, whilst also continuing to manage other key European markets.
Wacoal Europe has also appointed Rosemarie Castellini as the country manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and Edwin van der Bergh as the country manager for the Benelux markets and Scandinavia.
In addition, Hans Hornemann, Wacoal Europe’s general manager for EMEA will take direct responsibility for the Russian and Middle East distributors.
Hornemann said: “Our strategy is to continue to develop the Wacoal Europe brand portfolio across Europe and beyond, increasing the awareness of the Wacoal name and the qualities and values that it stands for. We believe strengthening our management structure further will help us to achieve our business ambitions further and to be the industry leaders.”
The changes come seven months after Wacoal Europe, formerly known as Wacoal Eveden, became the renamed subsidiary of Wacoal Holdings Corp.
