Victoria’s Secret to launch in Trinity Leeds

US lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret is set to launch its third UK store at the new Trinity Leeds shopping centre in Yorkshire.

The new store is set to be the first that the retailer has opened in the country outside of London.

It opened its first outlets in the capital, in new Bond Street and Westfield Stratford City shopping centre, over the summer.

The £350 million Trinity Leeds retail and leisure development, which covers one million sq.foot and is the only major new shopping centre currently under construction in the UK, is already close to 84 percent let.

Confirmed retailers include the likes of Marks & Spencer, Primark, Cult, Hollister, Next, River Island, H&M, and Topshop/Topman

The shopping centre will open on March 21, 2013.

The launch of Victoria’s Secret in the UK – while lowkey – has attracted significant attention.

The brand is famed for its glamorous events, its flock of ‘Angels’ and its annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion show

The latest show took place at the Lexington Avenue Armory on November 7. The event featured performances from singers including Rihanna and Juston Bieber. Angel Alessandra Ambrosio wore this year’s multi-million dollar Fantasy bra.

The event will air in one hour CBS special on December 4, 2012.
