Victoria’s Secret stayed true to its name today and opened its Bond Street flagship store without fanfare, celebrity scrums or a bevy of Angels.
The new shop occupies 40,386 square feet over four floors, and occupies a corner position on London’s most exclusive shopping street.
Preview tours were given to select media who described the store as overwhelming.
“Those who have a fear of hot pink, mirrors and dark spaces should stay well clear,” said Olivia Bergin from the Daily Telegraph.
The store’s product line up extends beyond lingerie into nightwear and loungewear in colours that will appeal to everybody from neon-loving teens to luxury boudoir pieces.
There were no Angels in the flesh at today’s opening, but they look down on shoppers from the walls in a series of beautiful prints.
