Vanilla Blush has been named a finalist in Scotland’s foremost start-up business competition, Scottish EDGE, offering funding of up to £100,000.

Nicola Dames, CEO of the Glasgow based post-surgery lingerie brand, will make her pitch at the final, which will be held at the RBS Conference Centre in Edinburgh on June 20.

She said: “It is a massive privilege to get to such a prestigious final.

“I know it will be great to attract the maximum investment into Vanilla Blush, which is £100,000, but what really makes this business entrepreneur competition so brilliant is that you are not competing against other equally great Scottish companies, you are competing against yourself.”

Vanilla Blush is among 22 finalists who have gone through several rounds of gruelling assessment by high profile entrepreneurs in Scotland.

“We are delighted to have Vanilla Blush as one of our finalists, in what is shaping to be our most exciting final to date. They should all be extremely proud of getting to this stage,” said Scottish EDGE COO Steven Hamill.
