Vanilla Blush hails model for body building glory

A model for underwear and swimwear retailer Vanilla Blush has hit the headlines for reaching the Body Building World Finals, less than a year after undergoing ileostomy surgery.

Zoey Wright, who only 10 months ago went through traumatic surgery leading to her having a stoma, qualified for the November finals after triumphing at an event last night.

Wright is considered one of Vanilla Blush’s up-and-coming stars, modelling the brand’s award-winning ostomy lines, which have won it huge plaudits.

“And I am so proud of the fact that I’ve made it to the final, and the fact that I have a Stoma has never been an issue, this is simply about striving to be the best, which is about what is inside a person.”

Vanilla Blush may have another reason to celebrate this week. The Scottish brand is a finalist in the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2015 and finds out on Thursda
