Ultimo web sales rise, Lopilato fronts final shoot

Ultimo has today announced a huge boost in sales in the run up to Christmas.

Founder Michelle Mone said that in a space of a week, the brand’s website sales have shot up 80%.

“People are clearly in the shopping spirit and starting to spend, spend, spend as Christmas approaches, clambering to find that perfect gift,” she announced.

The news comes as the brand launches the last ever lingerie campaign fronted by Luisana Lopilato.

The Argentine model is taking a step back from the brand after giving birth to her first child with husband Michael Buble.

In her final shoot, Lopilato wears limited edition designs Ooh La La and Va Va Voom, which have been crafted from lace, satin and fishnet mesh.

Ultimo is yet to announce the ‘face and body’ who will replace Lopilato.

Mone added: “Luisana has been incredible for Ultimo thanks to her international profile. She’s been the perfect role model and a true asset to the brand, as well as a good friend. Luisana is taking time out with her new baby boy, Noah – we wish her all the very best and I’m sure that she will be back working with us again in future.”
