Lingerie and womenswear brand Ultimo has signed up another seven women after it was inundated with over 10,000 applicants for its recent ‘real women’ competition.
The newly appointed women represent the second ‘real women’ campaign for the firm in the space of two weeks and are pictured modelling the latest underwear and dress collections for Miss Ultimo, Ultimo and Ultimo Couture.
The images from the shoot will be used online at www.ultimo.co.uk and in Debenhams stores throughout the UK.
Shot in a series of poses, the winners include Natalie Mcdonald, 25, a medical therapist, Rochelle Mchaghney, 18, an administrator, Cat Boyle, 28, a franchise owner of Curves Gym and Kirsty Anderson, 21, a Marketing Student. The women are from all corners of the UK, including Glasgow, Aberdeen, London, Jersey and Wales.
Ultimo founder Michelle Mone OBE said: “We were overwhelmed by the response from our last competition and decided to giveaway another seven places. All of the women were thrilled and did a brilliant job.
“We also managed to raise an incredible £100,000 with this campaign for charities including Breast Cancer Care, Cash for Kids and CHILDREN with LEAUKEMIA – so, underneath the glamour of all the make-up artists, hair stylists and crew, we all knew we were doing something really worthwhile which made the day even more special.”
The seven winners were taken to London for a big budget celebrity-style fashion shoot with the Ultimo ‘glam team’, including celebrity photographer Dan Kennedy, hair and make-up artists, a stylist and lighting experts.
