Ultimo has returned to London Fashion Week for its second collaborative catwalk show with House of Holland.
Worn-to-be seen shapewear by Ultimo was featured under key House of Holland looks during the show, which took place at the Topshop Show Space on Saturday.
After featuring the Pixie bralette alongside his AW16 collection at LFW last season, Henry Holland approached Ultimo with the intention of incorporating the brand’s new shapewear collection with his SS17 looks.
He revealed: “I’m pleased House of Holland has been able to further its relationship with Ultimo. To me the underpinnings of a collection, be it make-up, hair, or lingerie, are critical to creating the runway look, and Ultimo’s shapewear sits seamlessly with my SS17 designs.”
Ultimo managing director Petra Drali commented: “Debuting the Pixie bralette on the House of Holland runway was the beginning of a great relationship between Ultimo and House of Holland.
“It has been a real honour to have Henry request Ultimo once again for his catwalk show, and we’re delighted to have him take note of our shapewear collection. When designing the pieces, we felt that there was a real need for sexy shapewear, and it is especially validating to have him recognize this trend.”
