The winner of the Lingerie Agent/Distributor of the Year category is Intimates Lingerie.
A family-owned business, Intimates Lingerie was launched in London 20 years ago and currently represents a strong portfolio of brands including Hanro, DKNY and the Maryan Mehlhorn beachwear group.
In 2017, Intimates also launched underwear brand Commando in the UK market. Already a success in the US, Intimates hopes to replicate this performance in Britain. The brand has recently launched at Selfridges, Fenwick Bond Street and several independent stores.
In April 2017, Intimates worked with Hanro to launch a shop-in-shop at Fenwick Bond Street. The permanent shopping space, which makes up around a third of the lingerie department, is now the biggest shop fit at the department store.
Intimates has also launched a DKNY light box at House of Fraser’s Oxford Street store, resulting in an 85% growth in sales versus last year. Overall, wholesale sales have climbed 20% year on year at Intimates Lingerie.
