The UK Lingerie gained full coverage, this weekend, with a page in OK! magazine devoted to the prestigious event.
The popular title published images of a number of UK Lingerie Awards guests, including Lizzy Cundy, Georgina Leahy and her snake Skinky Sebastian, Phill Turner, Sarah Harding, Natasha Hamilton, McFly’s Danny Jones, Elle Liberachi and Debenhams’ Emily Wright and Vicky Hewitt.
It also included details of the event, along with information on Myla, which won Lingerie Brand of the Year, and Theo Paphitis, who was handed the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The UK Lingerie Awards has quickly become the biggest event in the industry calendar and this has been reflected by the huge public interest in the results.
The Lingerie Insight website alone received over 25,000 page views in the two days following the event.
Meanwhile, media coverage has been splashed around the world on fashion, show business and celebrity websites and magazines.
“The industry gets this single night every year to show the world what it has achieved. The finalists, winners and sponsors are getting the sort of global exposure that money cannot buy,” said Andy Martyniuk, UK Lingerie Awards event director.
