Topshop has doubled the size of its lingerie department at one of its flagship stores in the UK.
The retailer yesterday flung open the doors of its new outlet at the Bullring in Birmingham, where customers are treated to a larger range of stock than ever before.
Topshop has been trading in the shopping centre for more than a decade but recently moved into a 31,000 square foot unit that previously belonged to River Island.
As well as an enlarged lingerie section, the maternity and beauty departments have also all doubled in floorspace following the revamp.
The main feature of the new store is a “luxurious” spa-like personal shopping area, where customers are offer personalised style advice from a specialist team of Topshop stylists.
Tanya Sharpless, national personal shopping manager at Topshop Topman, told the Birmingham Mail: “We’re giving the Birmingham Topshop customer the luxury that comes with having your own stylist. We want to show this service is not just for the mega wealthy.”
Shoppers can book an appointment for a free session with one of the store’s four stylists, but they are not obliged to purchase anything, the paper reported.
