Top retail bosses gathered in London yesterday for an industry roundtable hosted by the Government.
Representatives from John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, ASOS and Tesco joined the debate, which was chaired by Small Business Minister Margot James.
The meeting discussed how retailers can work together to build on their success stories and seize new opportunities.
James, who was joined by Jane Ellison, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, and the High Streets Minister Andrew Percy at the meeting, said: “Retailers play a key role in our economy and I welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can work together to shape the future of retail in the UK.”
Other retail bosses from the British Retail Consortium, ASDA, Ikea and the British Independent Retailers Association were also present.
