The Lingerie Edit names Best Brand winners

The Lingerie Edit has announced the winners of its third Best Brand Awards voted for by buyers and the press.

Boudoir lingerie brand Loveday London won the Buyers’ Best Brand award, while new brand Maven was crowned the Press’ Best Brand by editors, freelancers and bloggers at the show, which was held at the Savoy hotel on July 9-10.

Launched in 2013, Loveday London is described as a hardcore romance brand due to its juxtaposition between fashion and sex, and love and romance.

The premium intimates brand was awarded the Press’ Best Brand award in July 2014 and is currently stocked in Selfridges, Dolci Follie, Odyssey Boutique and Baar and Bass.

Maven is an affordable lingerie brand made up of soft bras, bodies and kimonos available from £19 to £35.

Each piece is made using embroidered mesh and features signature coral straps. Bra sizes range from a 28D to a 38G.

Both brands have secured a free spot at next season’s Lingerie Edit, which takes place in January.
