How does it differ to other industry trade shows?
Other trade shows can be quite sterile. However, The Lingerie Edit has more of a luxury and personal feel to it.

What brands are you most looking forward to seeing at the show and why?
I’m looking forward to seeing the new Yolke nightwear range as I love the contemporary feel of the brand, along with LUXE by Lisa Vogel, due to its stylish and sexy silhouettes.

What will draw you to a stand?
Brands that are offering something different to the those I already have within my departments. When space is very limited, each brand within the department needs to have a point of difference. I am looking for a simple, clean, contemporary nightwear brand to sit alongside the current brands within the department.

What trends do you expect to see at the SS16 trade show?
In beachwear, the fusion of texture, colour and bold silhouettes will be the main focus.

Lucy Litwack, Managing Director, Coco de Mer

Why do you choose to attend the Lingerie Edit?
The Lingerie Edit is in a great location in Central London. It allows us to spend more time with the brands in a pleasant environment after the hectic experience of Paris. It is great to be able to support the British industry with a home-grown show for key brands.

How does it differ to other industry trade shows?
The Lingerie Edit feels more intimate than the big shows, such as Mode City, and therefore allows us to develop closer relationships with certain brands and have the time to discuss developing partnerships and collaborations.

What brands are you most looking forward to seeing at the July show and why?
We don’t sell swimwear so we will be concentrating on the lingerie side. We will look forward to seeing brands such as Loveday London and Millesia, which are launching with us for the first time in AW15.

What will draw you to a stand?
Stands with new and interesting designs with a luxury aesthetic and, for our customer, more provocative styling is key.

What trends do you expect to see at the SS16 show?

We hope to see beautiful metallic laces, erotic styling and a continued desire for innovation in silhouette and fabrication within the luxury market.

Annabelle Mu’azu, Founder, Beautifully Undressed

Why do you choose to attend the Lingerie Edit?
For me, the Lingerie Edit is the best trade event in the UK for luxury lingerie and swimwear. The selection is always on point and you’re guaranteed a wonderful mix of established, up and coming and innovative brands. It’s been a launch pad for new designers who’ve gone on to achieve great success and, since its inception, I have taken on a number of brands represented there.

How does it differ to other industry trade shows?

TLE is a more intimate trade show, with a lovely atmosphere and so less pressured. It offers a great opportunity to meet the creatives and designers behind the brands and see the collections close up. The venue is so beautiful and is the perfect destination to see and discuss all things related to intimate apparel in a relaxed, but engaging space.

What brands are you most looking forward to seeing at the show and why?
The SS16 line up is eclectic, so I’m looking forward to seeing it all. But brands that have piqued my interest are Loveday London, Betty Blue Lingerie, Karolina Laskowska and Maison de Papillon. I’m keen to expand our swimwear offering so, I’m looking forward to seeing Luxe By Lisa Vogel, Little White Lies and MICHEAL Michael Kors.

What will draw you to a stand?
I’m drawn to a stand that encapsulates the brand’s ethos. A lovely display of garments and strong campaign images are key for me, as an online retailer. But ultimately it is all about the lingerie, how they feel to the touch, the fabrics used and exquisite detailing. This is what excites me.

What trends do you expect to see at the SS16 trade show?

I try to keep an open mind and try not to be swayed by trends. However, I love the hippy revival in fashion this season and would love to see this elaborated in SS16, with a strong nod to the ‘luxe Ibiza’ feel with more luxurious laces, Mediterranean hues, luscious soft bras and bodies that work from day into night.

Lauren Thurston, Junior Buyer, Figleaves

Why do you choose to attend the Lingerie Edit?
We attend to look for any new or upcoming brands that could be a great fit for Figleaves.

How does it differ to other industry trade shows?
We get to see some really niche or first-to-market brands, as well as smaller independent brands in one place. It can be difficult to get around all the up-and-coming brands at bigger trade shows.

What brands are you most looking forward to seeing at the July show and why?

I am looking forward to exploring the whole show and I’ll be looking for anything new. It’s always great to see the girls at Bluebella as we first discovered them at the Lingerie Edit a few seasons back.

What will draw you to a stand?
Anything unique and with a point of difference. A great quality product that we feel is a fit for our customer is also important.
