Team Gossard has once again beaten off its rivals at a major hot air ballooning competition to pick up the winning trophy.
The team led its racing balloon, adorned with 40ft images of Gossard girl Elle Liberachi, to victory at the 26th International Epiphany Balloon Festival in Italy, the first major competition of the year.
Balloonists from across Europe descended on the town of Mondovi to try and get their hands on the Memorial Trophy, but it was Team Gossard that shone through as it successfully completed the judged tasks in variable weather conditions.
Chief Pilot Andrew Holly said: "Mondovi is such a special place and it’s a great start to the year to win a trophy on our first outing. We’re looking at many more this year with the support of Gossard."
Gossard managing director added: “Team Gossard have once again flown to victory amid tough competition. The balloon looks fantastic in the skies and certainly adds even more lift to our best-selling EgoBoost bra.”
The Memorial Tropy is dedicated to the late local balloonist Davide Rashcieri and each year the ballooning community come together to celebrate his life through a Memorial Flight, watched by locals and balloon enthusiasts alike.
