British lingerie and bodywear brand Tatu Couture has launched a range of bespoke garments designed without its signature tattoo prints.
Amsterdam-based boutique Pleasurements has become the latest European retailer to purchase key pieces from the label’s SS14 collection, custom-made for its clientele.
“Over the last few seasons we have started to introduce some key pieces without the ‘signature’ prints in order to broaden our customer base,” Tatu Couture creative director Luisa Sidoli told Lingerie Insight.
“Our brand has a strong design appeal in its own right so we were happy to work on this collaboration as we felt it would only strengthen the appeal of our brand and appeal to a wider market.”
Commenting on the partnership, Pleasurements owner Rebecca van de Wurff said: “Pleasurements is all about celebrating femininity in the most elegant way, Pleasurements and Tatu Couture are a match made in heaven. Both love showing off female curves in the most sensuous, sophisticated way possible. Our clients love wearing it, not only in the boudoir, but also outside the boudoir.”
Tatu Couture has also designed bespoke pieces this season for luxury Parisian boutique Mise en Cage.
