Swimwear365 reports ‘triumphant’ first season

Freemans Grattan Holdings (FGH), part of the Otto Group, is celebrating the success of the online swimwear newcomer Swimwear365.co.uk, which saw sales in its first season up 53 percent on forecast.

FGH added Swimwear365.co.uk to its portfolio of fashion and lifestyle brands in February 2012. It founded www.swimwear365.co.uk to offer the UK’s largest online swimwear range, catering for ‘all shapes and sizes’ and with availability all year round.

The launch of the e-store, which stocks exclusive UK brands such as LASCANA, s.Oliver and Buffalo, was supported with an extensive marketing and PR campaign, highlighting the site’s specialist features.

These include a Shape Calculator, a style blog (Style365), style advice from TV stylist Helen Boyle and a celebrity ambassador in the shape of TOWIE’s Sam Faiers.

The SS12 launch was also supported with a direct mail campaign to FGH customers. A substantial social media campaign has also reportedly propelled Swimwear365’s following and has been integrated with viral competitions, live Twitter style
sessions and customer engagement on Facebook.

Business Unit director Diane Fowler said: “We’re delighted by the success of Swimwear365 in its first season. We have worked incredibly hard to ensure that all the elements have come together seamlessly, and feedback from customers has been extremely positive.”
