Something Wicked launches shoppable videos under new management team

Luxury lingerie brand Something Wicked has revamped its ecommerce site with fully shoppable videos under a new management team.

The brand was founded by husband and wife Aaron and Louise Seager and designer Leanne Brooke in 2013, but has had a recent change in management structure and new investment.

The new website reflects this change and signals a bold step forward for the brand.

Something Wicked now has two primary shareholders – managing partner Steff McGrath and Leeds-based marketing agency, Home Marketing.

A key feature of the new e-commerce site is its fully shoppable videos.

Visitors to the site are encouraged to select how they are feeling from a range of ‘moods’. Their selection then presents them with a corresponding video clip.

The innovative technology allows customers to explore products showcased in the videos and click directly through to purchase.

McGrath said: “We wanted to re-launch the brand and the new website is the perfect way to showcase our collections. It is the right mix of creative and aspirational branding with innovative e-commerce technology.”

The website was developed by Home Marketing and the videos were produced in conjunction with Chief Productions and directed by Nate Camponi.
