Hanro, known internationally for high-quality lingerie, nightwear and loungewear, has unveiled details of its AW18 collection at Salon International in Paris.
The AW18 collection, which embraces the blurring lines between lingerie, daywear, nightwear and activewear, features a variety of bras, briefs, tops, leggings, and shirts, among other products.
Each of the pieces in the new collection, which are made with natural fibers, including cotton, micro-modal, silk, merino wool and cashmere, are designed to be worn in a variety of combinations and to be multi-functional.
A spokesperson for the brand said: “Hanro’s new collection is as multi-faceted as life in a large town. Many styles can be combined into versatile looks for so many occasions. Boundaries between day or night and indoor or outdoor are becoming more fluid. Shirts can be worn underneath or as modern outerwear.
“Kimonos and jackets are real fashion pieces when styled accordingly. Sleepwear and loungewear are merging into a new Living wear category that can be worn and styled in multi-functional ways.
The brand is releasing its AW18 pieces in four waves of monthly releases with the first, and largest, product release in July and the last in October.
Velvet is also trending throughout the whole collection and new cotton lingerie ranges feature decorative lace details or multi-coloured embroideries.
