Sioda Lingerie to launch at Belfast Fashion Week

New luxury lingerie label Sioda Lingerie is making its official launch during Belfast Fashion Week’s ‘Up and Coming Designers’ night, this Saturday 15th October 2011.

The Sioda Lingere Bridal and Black labels will be on sale from the end of October through the brand’s website,, Proof, off Ormeau Rd and Orchid Lingerie, on Lisburn Rd.

Sioda Lingerie is the only Irish handmade silk lingerie label designed and manufactured in Northern Ireland. The name Sioda Lingerie, pronounced ‘she da’, means silk in Irish and reflects the essence of the brand, which specializes in unstructured and ‘elegant’ pieces.

Each item is hand made using silk satins and silk chiffons, and some pieces are accentuated with lace from the last remaining Leavers Lace manufacturers in the UK.

The Bridal and Black Labels consists of delicate French knickers, ruffled knickers, shorts, camisoles, cami knickers, lounge pants, chemises, garters and eye masks.
