Simone Pérèle celebrates 70 years of luxury lingerie with anniversary collection

French brand Simone Pérèle will celebrate 70 years of luxury lingerie by launching an exclusive 1948 collection this autumn.

Available in over 120 independent and department stores throughout the UK and Ireland, Simone Pérèle will recreate traditional classic styles inspired by the late founder of the brand, Simone Pérèle.

The limited edition 1948 collection will offer offer luxurious lingerie styles of the era, from satin corsets with top-stitched branding along the neckline to an edgy bustier that accentuates women’s curves.

For the last 70 years, Simone Pérèle has been at the forefront of innovative lingerie design, creating handmade products in an industrial world.

In the 1950’s, the classic silhouette was redefined and lingerie became ultra-feminine and, taking inspiration from Bridgette Bardot, Simone Pérèle pioneered the Soleil bra, which gave women the perfect pointed bust. This became an instant success.

Today, the brand remains a family business, with Ms Pérèle’s grandchildren, Mathieu Grodner and Stéphanie Pérèle, at the helm.
