A Leicester-based manufacturer will send underwear to football pundit Gary Lineker after he vowed to present Match of the Day in his pants if LCFC win the Premier League.
Shreddies, the company behind the revolutionary flatulence-filtering underpants, has stepped in to produce a special set of briefs for the former Leicester striker, who made the promise on Twitter in December.
Lineker posted the Tweet after Leicester City beat Chelsea 2-1 to go two points clear at the top of the league.
LCFC are currently five points clear with four games to go.
He tweeted: “YES! If Leicester win the @premierleague I’ll do the first MOTD of next season in just my undies.”
Shreddies manager Richard Woolley told the Leicester Mercury: “We are searching for a special fabric in the Leicester City blue for the underwear.
“We will be in contact with Gary’s people to find out what size to produce the pants in. We are a local company he is a local lad – it is a perfect fit.”
