Seafolly presents high summer range starring supermodel Toni Garrn

Australian swimwear brand Seafolly has launched its high summer 2018 campaign starring international supermodel Toni Garrn.

Garrn follows in the footsteps of Gigi Hadid, Jess Hart and Miranda Kerr in modelling for Seafolly, after previously working for some of the fashion industry’s biggest names, including Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Dior, and walking the Victoria’s Secret catwalk in 2013.

In new pictures released this week, the German model wears a range of bikinis and swimsuits featuring warm, earthy tones, sleek lines and flamboyant prints.

The all-encompassing collection, designed for the beach, gym and beyond, is divided into the following five themes:

Desert Tribe

Cultures collide in this Desert Tribe story where a myriad of traditional handcraft techniques clash in a vibrant patchwork print featuring summer hues of flame and bluestone colourways. Printed feathers, shells and embroideries give designs across swim, active wear and apparel a sense of texture and dimensions from placement of spliced all over prints.

Jagged Geo

Abstract geometric trends inspired by modernist design materialise in Seafolly’s Jagged Geo story. This pattern is a reflection of fragmented water and light knitted into a classic, European jacquard that features two on-trend colour palettes of bluestone and earthy burnt amber.

Inka Stripe

Reinventing the much-loved nautical trend, this season inspires an update of Seafolly’s popular rib base in a French monochromatic pinstripe. Fleshed out with 80’s-inspired swim shapes, whilst eyelets and bow ties are a subtle nod to 50s ‘pin up’ styling.

Dusk to Dawn

Velvet, a major trend in lingerie, is filtering through to swimwear this season and Seafolly is taking note. Lingerie meets retro sportluxe across this theme, with elastic striped banding and crushed velvet in bluestone and pink sand hues.

Love Bird

A nostalgic and feminine story of old-world charm and romance combine in this traditional France-inspired trend. Moving on from the botanical floral, new romantic trends have reimagined chintzy furnishing florals as a new print captured in colourways of blue on white or black on peach in a textured waffle fabrication.
