The Salon International de la Lingerie show is celebrating its 50th edition, from January 19-21, 2013.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary edition, the Salon International de la Lingerie, in collaboration with the renown NellyRodi trends agency, will present a trends forum with tradition and innovation as ‘special guests’.
The forum’s ‘Ice Land’ theme will showcase four lingerie concepts and give visitors a 360° view of the directions for Autumn Winter 2013/2014.
Emerging trends, exclusive trend guides, archival garments, and collaborations with artists and designers will reportedly make the forum an ‘exceptional’ 50th birthday event.
The four trends are: Romantic, Innovation, Savage and Neo Nude.
Sophisticated lingerie with an ornate yet subtle appeal for a discreet, refined woman.
Modern, innovative and futuristic lingerie for a sensual woman who wants to sculpt her figure.
Natural lingerie and authentic loungewear for an elegant woman who seeks comfort.
Second-skin, delicate, minimalist lingerie for a woman with a light touch who’s in tune with a new, modern, low key approach.
The Retailer’s Club
For the first time, in January, the Salon International de la Lingerie will introduce a dedicated area where retailers can get together to share and discover new opportunities to boost their sales.
Boutique Secrets will showcase merchandising ideas and tips to improve store lay-out and product presentation; and an actual boutique and window display by Mash, visual identity consultants, will inspire new ideas and practical techniques for organizing retail spaces.
The trade show’s ‘Sweet Boutique’ will offer original collectables created especially as 50th anniversary souvenirs.
International and French retailers associations will also be there to bring professionals together. And, retailers can take advantage of a business centre and personalized training on social networking (creating their boutique’s Facebook page, for example).
