Royce Lingerie welcomes the next generation of brand directors

Royce business development manager Francesca Fleming at Moda.

Wirefree specialist Royce Lingerie has welcomed the next generation of the family members into the Banbury-based company.

As founders Bob and Jane Fleming begin to take a step back, their son Richard and daughter Francesca have joined the business and are preparing to take the helm.

Speaking exclusively to Lingerie Insight at Moda Lingerie and Swimwear, Francesca said: “Joining Royce this year has been an exciting development for me personally and for the business. The timing is perfect as my brother and I both felt that we had gained lots of valuable experience elsewhere and wanted to bring these skills back to Royce. It feels like a real landmark too, as we celebrated Royce’s 25th anniversary last year.

“Despite having much to learn within the industry, Rich and I have had a bit of a head start as Royce is already in our blood! We’re really proud of what our parents have achieved so far and want to carry this forward.”

Francesca joins Royce as business development manager, focusing on marketing, communications and growing export business. Richard has taken on the role of operations manager and will work to streamline systems and processes both internally and externally.

Francesca hailed a successful Moda trade show, which closes at 4pm today. She said: “Moda has been a great show to come to this week. You can’t beat meeting customers face to face, and I’ve been able to talk to them about our new products and innovations as well as getting their thoughts on what we can do to improve business even further.”
