Royce, John Lewis celebrate successful fundraising

Wirefree bra specialist Royce Lingerie is celebrating its most successful Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) campaign to date after joining forces with high street giant John Lewis.

The companies teamed up for a BCAM promotion in which Royce Lingerie pledged to donate £1 for each of their ‘Caress’ mastectomy bra sold through John Lewis in the month of October. This includes styles purchased online or in any of the 33 John Lewis stores which stock Royce bras.

An undisclosed amount was raised for Against Breast Cancer charity – more than doubling the donation made in 2013.

In addition to the donation, Royce arranged to have Bra Banks placed in all John Lewis stores, allowing hundreds of ladies to recycle their old or unwanted bras to the charity’s gain.

Royce Lingerie sales and business development manager Sarah Gilbert said: “We are proud to hand over such a significant donation to Against Breast Cancer and are delighted to have worked with John Lewis to increase breast awareness and to raise money for Against Breast Cancer.”
