Rigby & Peller set sights on Yorkshire

Rigby & Peller is looking to expand business in the north of England.

The Queen’s bra maker, who is now owned by the Belgium group Van de Velde, is searching for stores in the north of England with a focus on Yorkshire. This will mark the first time the brand has sold in stores outside of the South since its inception in 1939.

The brand, which was granted a Royal Warrant in 1960 has eight stores in the south of England and has rolled out internationally, with 12 stores in Europe and two in China.

With many online sales coming from the North and Scotland, the brand is looking to capitalise on this market.
