Rigby & Peller sales boost Van de Velde revenue

Belgian lingerie maker Van de Velde said its turnover increased slightly in 2013, encouraged by a strong sales performance at Rigby & Peller stores in Europe.

Consolidated turnover in 2013 increased by 0.3% to €182.4 million, up from €181.8m the year before.

The company saw an increase of 13.3% in the retail turnover at Rigby & Peller, thanks to like-for-like growth at a number of shops in Germany.

The group’s wholesale business recovered from a 2% decline in the second half to achieve a stable turnover.

The results for the fiscal year 2013 will be announced on 24 February.
