Rigby & Peller celebrates renovated store opening

Rigby & Peller hosted its first private shopping event at its newly-refurbished St John’s Wood store in north-west London last night.

Jill Kenton, the daughter of Rigby & Peller proprietors June and Harold, and managing director Ella Hitchins welcomed customers – old and new – to browse and purchase luxury lingerie from brands including PrimaDonna, Aubade and Eberjey.

Guests sipped champagne and ate canapés as they looked through the retailer’s latest collections, and bra fitters were on hand to offer personal fitting and styling services in the store’s luxury fitting rooms.

Customers were also given a 20% discount on all garments for one night only.

The renovated St John’s Wood store has been designed to reflect Rigby & Peller’s heritage, with a luxurious contemporary feel.

“We’ve focused on creating an environment which inspires and delights our customers – from easy to browse bays through to four beautiful fitting rooms,” Hitchins told Lingerie Insight.

“We want our customers to feel at home in our stores, and believe that the evolution of design and in-store environment provides the perfect backdrop to our customer service.”
