Read Lingerie Insight's April edition online

The April issue of Lingerie Insight is now available to read online, with the latest from Bravissimo, bloggers’ lingerie reviews and a host of new collections.

The latest edition kicks off with the latest business news, from the bankruptcy ruling of the Bodywear Office to the launch of new feminist lingerie brand, Neon Moon.

Also this month, we ask a panel of professionals if the intimate apparel industry is doing enough to support independent lingerie designers. The UKFT, Gilda & Pearl, APM Agency, Bluebella and Tallulah Love join the debate.

We also hear from our resident legal expert Tim O’Callaghan, who discusses anti-competitive business practices in the lingerie sector and how to deal with them.

This month’s columnist is Debra Jamieson, sales and marketing director at UK Point of Sale. She provides a six-step guide for making the most of your retail space.

Over the page, we catch up with Bravissimo managing director Jo Lee. In a special feature, she talks about how her company has stood the test of time by embracing the rise of ecommerce and providing exceptional service to its customers.

Naturana UK sales and marketing director is another interviewee sitting in the hot seat, explaining how the near 100 year-old brand has been given a new lease of life thanks to a strong marketing campaign centred around vintage lingerie.

Winners of the 2014 UK Lingerie Awards also feature in this month’s edition. They tell Lingerie Insight how they have used the awards to publicise and improve their businesses since the eventful night in December.

In this month’s products and trends section, top lingerie bloggers including Cora Harrington of the Lingerie Addict and Cheryl Warner of Invest In Your Chest, pick out the key trends, brands and styles that stopped them in their tracks this season.

The April edition also features a special section on first bras and underwear designed for teenagers. From Boobs & Bloomers to Redwood Girls, there is a great selection of brands offering younger styles on the market.

We also focus on shapewear, discussing the latest trends in this sector with experts from Wolford, Patricia Eve, Vercella Vita and Naturana. And, to round-up this feature, we’ve listed the must-buy shapewear products available in AW15.
