Cambridge lingerie and swimwear retailer Prohibido will be hosting a SS12 fashion show in aid of local charity Toms Trust, this May 22.
The event, which will take place at a private members club 12a Club in Cambridge, will feature brands such as Stella McCartney, Pleasure State, Passionata, Chantelle, LingaDore, Paolita, Rasurel and Andres Sarda.
Prohibido owner Mercedes Lee told Lingerie Insight: “We normally try and do two fashion shows a year, one for spring summer and one for winter. Tom’s Trust is a local charity in Cambridge. We always try and get charities innolved… We have already sold so many tickets.”
Tom’s Trust is a charity that provides clinical psychologists for children with brain tumours and their families from the point of diagnosis, supporting them throughout treatment – and after treatment – as the children slowly return to their schools and lives.
Brain tumours are the most common cause of cancer deaths in children under 15 and psychological support is reportedly an undervalued part of the rehabilitation process.
Tickets for the show cost £10. Drinks and ice cream will also be on offer at the event.
