Clare Harris joined Bravissimo in July 2012 as senior merchandiser, before being promoted to product manager in December 2015.
Since then, she has been responsible for strategically planning the best fuller-bust product ranges to answer Bravissimo’s customer needs.
This includes buying branded lingerie and swimwear to suit individual tastes, shapes and sizes.
Clare’s main aim is to offer customers the best choice in terms of fit, look and feel. The challenge is editing a range that works for big boobs.
“Putting together a range that is going to do a brilliant job for customers of all different shapes and sizes and offering them the choice in fit, as well as look and feel, is a bit like a mathematical puzzle,” she said in an interview with
“Some customers love a really firm fit, while others like a more natural fit, which is a massive trend that we are seeing at the moment.”
Clare also plays an integral role in driving innovation across Bravissimo’s own-brand product range. In February 2017, she helped launch the brand’s first sleep bra.
“In general, we’ve been focusing on making sure our range is offering the absolute best choice out there,” Clare said.
“We want big-boobed women to feel like they’ve got the same choice as their friends who don’t have big boobs and not feel like they are shopping in a specialist retailer.”
One of the biggest projects Bravissimo has been working on over the last 18 months has been to review the brand, and Clare has played an key part in defining a new look and feel across the retailer’s website, which relaunched in early 2017, and newly-opened and refurbished stores, whilst maintaining the original spirit of Bravissimo.
Her job has been to ensure that the product supports the company’s new image, strategy and goals.
