Katia Charle has played a key role in driving creativity and innovation at French brand Simone Pérèle since she joined the company 22 years ago.
Over the years she has created luxury collections that are renowned the world over for their exquisite details and haute couture quality.
She is inspired by the fact that women do not need to choose between elegance and comfort and has a passion for developing collections that evoke fashion and wellbeing.
In January, her work was placed in the spotlight when Simone Pérèle was named Designer of the Year 2017 by Salon International de la Lingerie and Paris Capitale de la Création.
“It’s this tradition of savoir-faire and creative boldness that the Salon International de la Lingerie celebrates by naming Simone Pérèle the 2017 Designer of the Year with Paris Capitale de la Création,” trade show organisers said.
Simone Pérèle is currently implementing a more targeted communications strategy to enable better engagement with its loyal and target customers by distinguishing its core essentials range from the Coupe de Coeure (season’s favourites).
The brand’s AW17 collection summarises the quintessence of Parisian elegance, featuring draping materials, exquisite embroidery, geometric lace and subtle prints.
Today, the brand manufacturers 3.5 million pieces each year and is stocked in independent boutiques, lingerie chains and department stores across the world.
