Since joining Wacoal Europe in 2005, Ann-Marie Manley has been responsible for all marketing decisions relating to the group’s entire group of brands – Wacoal, Fantasie, Freya, Elomi, Goddess and b.tempt’d.
Working closely with Wacoal Europe’s customers, she also heads up all the group’s in-store activities and customer support, organising fit events, such as Bra Doctors.
During her time at the company, she has spearheaded some of its most successful marketing campaigns, which have resulted in a rise in sales, increased customer engagement and even business awards, in line with the group’s objectives.
One example is the Freya Fancies campaign, which accompanied the launch of Freya’s ‘minx & match’ range in July.
The campaign, which ran until November, was supported with print and digital advertising, featuring augmented reality that linked users through to a microsite, which was visited over 20,000 times in the first month.
It was also accompanied by POS, in-store activity and events, press and blogger coverage and online marketing. Freya Fancies sales now account for 11% of Freya’s sales, and the SS17 collection also looks set to impress.
Under Manley’s leadership, Wacoal Europe also launched a new B2B website last month, to help service and support its customers.
The new platform allows customers to place orders quickly and easily, check stock and download invoices at any time, on any day. Customers are also able to access materials, such as price lists, brochures, images and videos.
Manley said: “The initial feedback we’ve received from our customers using the new site has been really positive which is pleasing as we’re looking to develop our digital strategy even further.”
