Post-op lingerie brand expands into swim

Zuri, a new luxury brand that specialises in bras for surgically-enhanced breasts, has announced that it will expand into swimwear this season.

The label, which launched at Salon International de la Lingerie in January, will introduce its Aqualina bikini range and Mirage one-pieces to trade in the coming months.

Zuri currently offers Butterfly, a post-operative bra designed to be worn for a minimum of six weeks after surgery, and Reslience, a luxury sports version of the garment designed for high-impact activity.

Both garments feature adjustable shoulder straps for easy removal, a front fastener with auto-lock zip, a racer back for support and soft moulded cups for added comfort.

Zuri, meaning beauty, was founded two years ago by Faisal Arif. He worked with cosmetic surgeons, patients and lingerie designers to produce luxury bras for clients who have had breast surgery.

Together, they discovered that many women suffer from poor quality and ill-fitting surgical bras or are not using a specialist recovery bra at all.

“Our bras reflect recovery needs whilst ensuring you benefit from excellent levels of support and comfort,” said Arif. “Premium quality is used to guarantee a luxurious feel.”
