The lingerie industry has turned up in force for one of the biggest events in the lingerie diary.
Over 180 brands are exhibiting at the three-day lingerie, swimwear and nightwear tradeshow, INDX Intimate Apparel in Solihull.
The bi-annual event, which is organised by Associated Independent Stores, has introduced a new show floor to the exhibition this year to make room for more brands after the summer instalment last year garnered INDX’s welcomed the most exhibitors to date, with double the amount of brands in attendance.
As the show kicked off yesterday, Lingerie Insight’s Emma Calder paid a visit to the exhibition in Cranmore Park and has compiled a gallery of the brands not to miss at this year’s show.
AIS organiser, Amanda Partridge, commented that the show has exceed registration and footfall from August, adding that exact figures will be available after the show.
Show exhibitor Panache has seen the benefits of the increased footfall. UK sales manager, Mandy Dixon, told Lingerie Insight: “[The Sunday] was a steady day with lots of orders taken and people revisiting for topping up their orders. I think one of the key things that has come out of it is the Click, Fit and Collect, it’s not only bringing people to their stores, there’s now a variety of stock coming in that they wouldn’t have ordered themselves.”
