Several major retailers are eyeing La Senza’s store estate after it collapsed into administration earlier this month.
Vodafone; EE and O2 are among the retailers battling it out to acquire the lingerie company, reports Retail Week.
Footwear companies are also thought to be preparing to bid for the estate.
La Senza’s collapse is the second in two years. Marnixheath, the UK division of Middle Eastern trading house Alshaya bought La Senza out of administration in a pre-pack deal in 2012.
The group said in a statement: "Every effort has been made for two and a half years to transform and revitalise the La Senza UK business, but it has continued to experience difficult trading conditions, against the backdrop of a challenging economy and the changing dynamics of the UK retail market.”
La Senza’s current administrator, PricewaterhouseCoopers, is in the process of closing the retailer’s 55 UK stores.
