Eurovet, the world’s biggest organiser of trade shows for the lingerie industry, has thrown its support behind the UK Lingerie Awards for a second year in a row. Wacoal-Eveden is the headline sponsor and co-host of this year’s UK Lingerie Awards.
Eurovet’s two Paris exhibitions, Salon International de la Lingerie in January, and Mode City in July will sponsor the Lingerie Brand of the Year and the Swimwear Brand of the Year awards.
The partnership is a perfect fit for Eurovet, which also runs lingerie shows in New York, Las Vegas, Shanghai and Moscow.
"It is a great pleasure to support the incredible talent in the categories of lingerie and swimwear, as many of these brands already show a support in choosing the Eurovet shows to showcase their collections each season,” the company said.
“We want to be able to give back to brands and retailers who continue to support us throughout the years, which we’re hoping to do by offering free trips to Paris to attend the shows and a guided tour of the fairs by our personal shopper."
As part of their sponsorship, Eurovet will offer two retailers the chance to win a round trip to Paris to attend the Salon International (January 2014) and Mode City (July 2014) shows.
The competition will take place at the UK Lingerie Awards where buyers and retailers will be asked to drop their business cards in a hat, for a chance to win the trips which will include Eurostar train tickets, a night in a Parisian hotel and a VIP pass with dedicated access to both the shows and their trend forums.
The UK Lingerie Awards, in association with Wacoal-Eveden, takes place at Freemasons’ Hall in London’s Covent Garden on the evening of December 3. Other confirmed sponsors include Panache and the Uber private car hire service.
