Italian beachwear and lingerie brand Parah has teamed up with Israeli textiles company Nilit to produce a high-tech activewear collection for SS17.

The new capsule collection, inspired by the athleisure trend, features running pants, crop-tops, leggings, T-shirts and hooded blazers made using Nilit Innergy, a body-toning fiber.

Nilit Innergy is designed to convert thermal energy into Far Infrared rays to gently tone and strengthen the body.

“It is a very ambitious project,” said Pierluigi Berardi, director of Global Marketing at Nilit, which has been developing technical fibers for clothing and sportswear since 1974.

“We are very proud of Parah’s collaboration and we are confident that results will come quickly.

“Today, athleisure is a quite new but already crowded area which, in the long run, will leave no room for improvisation. Those, like us, who strive for innovation, are entitled to become a highly qualified reference partner.”
