Panache Lingerie, the UK’s leading D+ cup intimates brand, celebrated winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category with a party for its staff.
The company was given the award by Mr. David Moody, the Lord Lieutenant of South Yorkshire, on June 26, and held a BBQ and lingerie fashion show for its SS14 collection, which was attended by the company’s international and UK-based sales staff. The award will be officially presented at Buckingham Palace in the summer.
Danny Power, director of product for Panache Lingerie, said: “It was an honour to receive this award in recognition of our international growth, it’s testament to the great work that comes out of this office. We’re extremely proud that we sits alongside the world’s leading lingerie brands in markets such as North America, Australia, France and Germany to name but a few. The event gave a chance for the whole business to come together and celebrate this success.”
Presently, Panache Lingerie is sold in 53 countries and has offices in New York, China and Sheffield, the city in which it was founded. The label has also increased its overseas sales by 427 percent over the last six years.
