Sheffield lingerie brand Panache kicked off the Jubilee celebrations, last week, by hosting its
first ever exclusive blogger event.
The event was organised to stress the importance of women getting professionally fitted and
wearing the correct bra, whilst introducing a selection of bloggers to take in the new collections.
Panache invited ten top bloggers from around England to their Head Office in Sheffield, where they nibbled on Jubilee themed cupcakes and sip on Pimm’s, and took a detailed tour around Panache Head Quarters to see how the lingerie is created.
The bloggers were given the history of the company by Danny Power, Business Development Director of Panache, and then were professionally fitted, with many bloggers reportedly finding out that they were wearing the wrong cup and back size.
The event was held primarily to raise awareness of how important it is to get fitted regularly, as 80 percent of women are said to be wearing the wrong sized bra.
Panache Lingerie PR and social media co-ordinator said: “Bloggers are fast becoming the number one social platform for women to get an honest opinion, at Panache we felt it was necessary to create an event especially for them, so that they could in turn stress the importance of fit to their readers.”
Invest in Your Chest blogger Cheryl Warner said “"Panache sure know how to throw a party! Whilst I could go on about the personalised cup cakes all day, for me the best part of the day was learning how the brand conceptualise their collections. Panache understands how full bust lingerie is not just an item of necessity, but a fashion item too, and that their customers
are expecting more and more from the full bust market.
“Panache invited a great mixed bag of fashion, beauty, parenting and lingerie bloggers which created a refreshing, diverse atmosphere and I felt like we really fed off each other’s opinions and perspectives. They understand the importance of blogging for bridging the gap between themselves and their customers, and a fast-track way to get their designs spoken about online. All-in-all an amazing day of celebrating innovation, fit, design and new media, all of which Panache are masters of. It felt like a very appropriate time to celebrate this British family business."
The bloggers were given the opportunity to see how each range from Panache AW12 was produced, with a talk from each of the brands designers, and were given an exclusive sneak peek of the SS13 collections.
Each guest left the event with a Jubilee themed sport bra set from Panache.
