Coco de Mer has unveiled a co-branded lingerie collection designed in collaboration with actress and model Pamela Anderson.
A modern take on 1960’s pin up, the collection is designed to reflect the glamour and femininity of icons such as Sophia Loren and Brigitte Bardot, while adding Pamela’s touch of fun and flirtation.
Pamela has already fronted two campaigns for Coco de Mer, after being appointed as global brand ambassador in February, but this is the first time she has worked with the brand to design a co-branded lingerie collection.
Highlights from the SS18 range include Lucky, featuring sheer lace and opaque satin in red; Seductress, a romantic collection of playful garments that combine placement motifs and sexy shapes; Ladysmith, featuring classic vintage shapes with cheeky peep holes; and Pamela’s Secret Weapons, a selection of playful accessories.
The collection will launch into global stockists, Coco de Mer’s Covent Garden boutique and online at coco-de-mer.com next month.
Retail prices range from £25 for a thong to £200 for a corset.
Commenting on the launch Coco de Mer CEO Lucy Litwack said: “ It has been such a pleasure working with Pamela to create this collection. This is the third project we have collaborated on together and the result is a range that perfectly encompasses Pamela’s personality and Coco de Mer’s lingerie expertise.”
Pamela said: “I am so excited to present my first lingerie collection, in collaboration with Coco de Mer. Designed by women for women, the collection combines glamour and femininity with a touch of my famous flirtatious fun. A modern take on 1960s pin up, I have chosen my favourite silhouettes to flatter the female form and empower women to look and feel their best.”
